THE VOTING CHAMBERS
Rules of engagement and decision-making protocols for the Engineering and Governance councils.
CHAMBER RULES & PROCEDURES
Decision-making in Zeqron is not a simple majority vote. It is a multi-dimensional consensus process designed to prevent governance capture and ensure technical integrity.
CHAMBER A: THE LATTICE ENGINEERS
The technical chamber. Admission is based on verifiable contributions to the zeqron-node core or peer-reviewed cryptographic research.
- ::ROLE: Technical white-listing of protocol upgrades.
- ::VETO_POWER: Can block any proposal that threatens the mathematical stability of the mesh.
CHAMBER B: THE SOVEREIGN COUNCIL
The ecosystem chamber. Representatives are elected by node operators based on stake and uptime.
- ::ROLE: Resource management and strategic direction.
- ::APPROVAL_THRESHOLD: Requires 67% consensus for grant allocations.
THE INDEPENDENT ARBITRATION
A rotating pool of 12 "Supreme Nodes" with high reputation scores. They act as the final check, verifying that all rules were followed during the voting cycle.
